The room was equipped with a flat-screen TV, which provided entertainment during my downtime. While the room did not have an attached bathroom as initially promised, the presence of a fridge in the room was a convenient amenity. the lack of a secure door and the absence of a lock were concerning, but overall, the affordable price point of the hotel balanced out these drawbacks. The hotel's garden area provided a peaceful retreat, and the no smoking policy on site ensured a clean and healthy environment. Overall, the Family Lodge offers a decent option for budget-conscious travelers looking for a comfortable stay in Ilford.
